We have a well-equipped Computer Centre that is used extensively by both our learners and staff. Our full-time computer teacher introduces the children to computers from Grade R, and computer lessons form part of the weekly timetable up to Grade 7.

Our Telkom ASDL line enables 24 hour uncapped internet access. Lessons are integrated with what the teachers are doing in the classroom, using our wide variety of software. This enables us to make websites, blogs, newspaper reports, stories and create various other documents. We also use a typing programme to improve typing skills. The computers are also used as an aid in consolidating mathematics and language skills.

Our latest acquisition is the Computer 4 Kids computer education programme which is a relevant and integrated curriculum. With information technology moving faster and faster, and becoming more and more important, Computers 4 Kids will ensure that each learner is equipped with an internalional internet drivers licence by the time they enter high school, equipping learners with the digital skills they will need in almost any career.

Computers 4 Kids (known as C4K) is aimed at the children's ICT market. Computers 4 Kids is less structured and more "fun" - so that the children are entertained and love the experience of coming to a Computers 4 Kids class.

These hands-on lessons that cover subjects like maths, english, social studies, as well as IT skills aimed at your child's academic level. The child will receive international certification from ICDL South Africa (www.icdl.org.za) on completion of the course - the only international certification offered to primary school learners worldwide.

The advantage of our children attending these integrated or blended lessons are too numerous to be listed here but we are confident that the consolidation of completing classroom themes and topics as well as IT skills will stand him/her in good stead for progressing through the academic stresses that our children currently find themselves in. The courseware is also unique in that it incorporates lessons which promote Emotional Intelligence (EQ) in children.
