Grade 6In Grade 6, during the first term we head off to Rocklands Camp in Murdock Valley. We have an absolute ball learning many new life skills and making new and close friends with our classmates. It is also a time for our teachers to get to know us better. This is definitely one of the main highlights of our Grade 6 year.
The puberty course is another important programme that we all look forward to. This is done at the end of the 3rd term. We learn many things from how our bodies change during puberty to drugs and AIDS. This is important for us to do so that we all know the correct facts. Grade 6 Market Day is a huge event that we spend the whole of term 2 preparing for. We enjoy learning business skills and them putting them into practise, selling our homemade goods. We also go on various outing which are all related to our curriculum. We go to a Geography mapwork outing, we go to Wynberg to learn games from the past too.
